Tree Festival Event
The 21 March Forest Week, which is the first of the “Green Future Campaign from 7 to 70” activities of the “ We Join Forces for the Green Future Project”, which we carry out within the scope of the Town Twinning-II Grant Scheme between Turkey and the EU, was celebrated simultaneously in Çine Municipality, our Project Partners Environmentalist Energy Association, Lithuania Taurage and Croatia Karlovac. Within the scope of the tree festival event, 150 pistachio pines were planted in Çine, 300 pine saplings were planted in Taurage and 7 tamarisk, tamariks and Japanese cherries were planted in Karlovac. Robert Vodopić and Eva Sobotik-Pavan representing the city of Karlovac organized a coordination meeting with interested partners on 19.02.24 with the aim of reaching an agreement on marking 21.03.24 World Forest Day in Karlovac in the premises of the School of Natural Sciences in Karlovac.  In addition to representatives of the city of Karlovac, the director of the School of Natural Sciences in Karlovac, Mr. Nenad Klasan, Mrs. Gordana Purgar in front of the city company Zelenilo d.o.o. and Mrs. Dorica Matešić as the president of the Croatian Forest Society Karlovac branch, participated in the meeting. Campaign for a Green Future from 7 to 70 starts
#WeJoinForcesforaGreenFutureProject #7to70GreenFutureCampaign, which we are entitled to receive grants from the Town Twinning-II phase between Turkey and the EU, continues with #TreeFestivities. With the arrival of spring, we started planting saplings  With the slogan "Not a Green in Çine, but a Çine in The Greens"  In our Tree Day event, which we celebrate in a festive atmosphere, this year we will emphasize the issue of Combating Climate Change within the scope of the project.  In order to leave a cleaner, more livable, greener world to future generations by protecting our planet, let's all come together, old and young, now from 7 to 70!
SECAP Preparation Works Started in Çine!
Within the scope of Çine Municipality's We Join Forces for a Green Future Project, SECAP -Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan preparation, which is one of the most important steps in the fight against climate change, started in January.   In the SECAP process, which started by receiving consultancy services from DE Demir Energy, headquartered in Istanbul, an online meeting was held on 10.01.2024 between the project team and municipal staff and DE Demir Energy experts. Founding Partner Caner Demir, project experts Dilan Cengiz, Melda Karademir and İrem Orman from DE Demir Energy experts attended the meeting and gave information about SECAP,

The second monitoring visit of our project was held on 31.01.2024 at the Çine Municipality Meeting Hall. Contract Manager Melda Ortak and Finance Manager Elif Ulutaş from CFCU,  Çine Municipality Deputy Mayor, Financial Services Manager Necmiye Akçakoca, Project Coordinator Sırcemal Dinçer, Deputy Coordinator Olcay Dinçer from Project team with  procurement staff Mürüvvet Karabulut and accounting staff Mustafa Çolak, from the municipal attended the meeting.   Our project was examined and mutually evaluated through technical and financial files.
Çine Study Visit
Within the scope of 16-19 January 2024 Türkiye Opening Meeting and Study Visit to Çine on 17 and 18 January 2024, power plants using renewable energy sources in Çine and Aydın were visited. The 2-day technical visits were organized by the project team, including project coordinator Sırcemal Dinçer and deputy coordinator Olcay Dinçer with  The municipal representatives of our project partners, Robert Vodopic and Eva Maria Sobotik Pavan from Karlovac Municipality, Deputy Mayor Donatas Dirgincius and Mindaugas Piecia from Taurage Municipality, and the Environmental Energy Association Chairman of the Board Tolga Şallı, participated in the meeting.   On December 7, 2023, the first visit was made to our municipality by the Project Monitoring Unit. The meeting was held in Çine Municipality Meeting Hall and was attended by Nazlı Dengi, Monitoring Expert and Tuğba Ereken, Monitoring Expert from Union of Municipalities of Turkey. Deputy Mayor of Çine Municipality Timuçin Karabulut and Project Coordinator Sırcemal Dinçer, Deputy Coordinator Olcay Dinçer, Project experts and municipality officials responsible for purchasing and accounting attended the meeting and received information on project filing and how to prepare documents.
