Tree Festival Event

The 21 March Forest Week, which is the first of the “Green Future Campaign from 7 to 70” activities of the “ We Join Forces for the Green Future Project”, which we carry out within the scope of the Town Twinning-II Grant Scheme between Turkey and the EU, was celebrated simultaneously in Çine Municipality, our Project Partners Environmentalist Energy Association, Lithuania Taurage and Croatia Karlovac.

Within the scope of the tree festival event, 150 pistachio pines were planted in Çine, 300 pine saplings were planted in Taurage and 7 tamarisk, tamariks and Japanese cherries were planted in Karlovac. In total, within the scope of the campaign, 650 people from 7 to 70 people from three countries, three cities and 3 municipalities jointly planted 457 tree saplings on March 21 Tree Festival.

We would like to thank our project partners TEMA Foundation Aydın and Çine Representatives, all our schools and supporting organizations.

Thus, we left a green legacy for the future from 7 to 70.
